My Healthy New Life Day 16

Day 16
Week 2 Weight loss.........2 lbs.  Total Weight Lost.........14 lbs.
This last week has been much harder than the first week of my reboot.   The first week I think was easier because Shawn was out of town which left me free to stay home and make my smoothies and adjust to a new way of life really.  This week we were busy running around which made it a lot  harder.  Shawn has been drinking smoothies with me which has been great for support, but now I am making twice as many smoothies.  It takes more planning to ensure that he has enough to take to work with him and it also means more trips to the store for fruits and veggies.  Poor Shawn, I made him a really terrible smoothie one day to take to work and it about turned him off of smoothies all together.
This week I had a couple plates of hot vegetables and one night I had a salad.  It was so great to have warm food for a change.  Yesterday, I had granola for breakfast and by lunch time I was really craving a smoothie.  I'm glad that my body is craving healthy food instead of junk food like I usually do.

What I like about the Eat-Clean Diet is that it really isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change to eating whole foods.  She advocates eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins.   I'll let you know more soon!

Congratulations! Good luck too since you're obviously keeping at it. Let me know what you think about the recipes in that cookbook, I might have to look into it.
