Growing Up!

Over the last couple of weeks we have had a lot of growing up going on around this house.

First, Tabetha got braces.  

So far she thinks they are very annoying.
I don't blame her.

Next, Jarom turned 12!

Happy Birthday Jarom!  

Then, Jarom was ordained to the office of a Decan in our church and was able to pass the sacrament for the 1st time last Sunday.  I was so proud of him.  He also had to give his first talk in sacrament meeting that day.  He was nervous but he did a great job.

Next, Mya Gracie Pooh got her own big girl bed, AND has been sleeping in it all night long by herself.  Yah!  It is so awesome not to be kicked in the head and in the back all night long!

POTTY TRAINED!!!!!

My secret is.....LOTS and LOTS of CANDY!

These kids are growing up way to fast!  

On the 1st Day After Christmas, My Sister Gave to Me...

Yesterday, Mya pushed Katie off of a barstool.  I think the rest is pretty self explanatory.  

Two Wishes

This girl wishes she was big enough to go outside and play with the big kids...

Out of Gas

When you're running on empty

You don't really get to choose where it is that you run out of gas.

She was following Tabetha up the stairs to get a drink of water.   Tabetha said she got upstairs and Mya just never showed up. 

Poor girl! 

Help! We are in Big Trouble Here!

This marker eating, never sleeping, piano playing, always pinching, table dancing, kitchen counter climbing, song leading, constantly running, kiss giving, hair pulling, almost 15 month old, cute, busy body has figured out how to crawl out of her crib.  How is that possible, and how am I supposed to get her to sleep now?  AAAAaahhhhhh! 

It's a Thanksgiving Tradition at Our House

to make peanut butter balls, and guess who is helping this year.




It's me, Mya, and I'm so cute!





All you need to make peatnut butter balls is:
1/2 cup of peanut butter
3 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 bag or chocolate chips





First, mix the peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar together.





Then roll the mix into balls.  This is 2 times the recipe.



but, we usually make 4 times the recipe, cuz they're so so good.





Next, you melt the chocolate chips over very low heat, and dip the balls in the chocolate.





MMmmmmmmmmm!  They're good!





Don't believe me, just ask Hannah.





They are so good that later when everyone was getting ready for bed, I sneeked into the kitchen and helped myself to a few more.

1st Birthday!

My baby turned a year old on Tuesday, well, she's really not a baby any more. She's a toddler now, and she's much happier to be running around, following her brother's and sister's instead of watching all of them run past her.



It always suprises me how a newborn baby can go from being so small and helpless to being a toddler running around and saying words in just a years time.



Mya, I'm glad you're growing up. I love watching you grow and learn new things, but do you have to grow up so fast?
