"I had expected my children to capture my heart and occupy my mind, but I was surprised to find them possessing my whole soul-completely, unequivocally". --Beverly Campbell , The Mother in Me, p. xiv
55. Spending time together as a family this weekend. We worked in the yard together, went to visit Grammy, and Uncle Tony, and today we had a picnic with all the cousins. It was great just being together.
56. Husband built me some garden boxes and the kids helped me to plant vegetables.
57. Mya got her first ride on a motorcycle with dad and she loved it.
58. At the picnic tonight Katie licked all the pepper off her corn on the cob, because she was sharing it with Piper, and Piper doesn't like pepper.
59. My boys giving their little sisters rides on the motorcycles.
60. Logan volunteering to wipe the table off for me. (He never volunteers for extra work)

I love how you capture your kids in REAL experiences. The dirty faces, the messy hair, etc. It's great. If you can't find joy in things that are real, it's not really joy.
Kim, I can't believe how much katie looks like Hannah these days, sometimes I have to do a double take to figure out who's who.
