We went for a drive yesterday and we saw 6 or 7 different trees with these marks on them. Do you know what they are?
I didn't know what they were until Shawn told me.
They are the claw marks made by a bear to mark his territory and/or to sharpen his claws. Aahhhh!!
The only thing scarier in the woods than seeing bear claw marks is seeing the bear that left the marks!!
