We went from -45* to 50* above in 3 days.
The snow is melting. We went outside without snow pants. It felt warm and oh, so good.
It has been a little gift from God after such a long record breaking cold spell.
We have had the warmest temperatures ever recorded for January, but we know it won't last.
After all, this is Alaska, and it's already getting colder, but we are enjoying it while we can, because it won't be 50* again until May, well, probably.

I frequently check your temperature to feel better about how cold it is here. 50 degrees doesn't make me feel better, but I hope you enjoy it because like our cold weather, your warm weather won't last.
