Spring has Sprung!
Spring is finally here. We went from a blizzard last Friday to 50 degree weather this week. Our snow is melting so fast. We have giant puddles every where. The kids love to go out with their rain boots on and splash around everywhere. Some of the puddles are so deep the water is over the top of Jarom and Logan's boots. We are supposed to get some more snow tomorrow which I am not excited about, but I am hoping that it will melt right away and that within a week all of our snow will be gone.
As you can see from the pictures we started some plants inside. I really want to have a garden this year. We started our seeds on Saturday and look how big they are already. I can't believe how fast they are growing. We planted pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers, cabbages, and several kinds of flowers. Hopefully we can keep them alive until it is time to plant them outside which will be the end of May. I think our biggest problem is going to be keeping the moose out of it. We are going to have to put some kind of fence around the whole area. We had 2 big moose in our front yard on Sunday eating the aspen tree in front of the window. They live in our area and we see them quite often.
I will keep you updated on my garden progress. Wish me luck.

Your plants look really good. The pumpkins might be a bit big by the end of next month. They grow pretty fast. I hope springs comes here someday. We got snow today.
Moose, Kim that is crazy! Do you have Grizzly bears near as well. Post more pictures of your kids, I love seeing them! I am also so sad you aren't coming home this summer. Have you been watching LOST? I am obsessed with that show!
That is fast that they have grown. It looks so fun. I can't believe the moose will eat it. I hope you get warm weather soon.
Love ya
The garden will be so great! I can't wait to watch it grow.
