The Lonesome Gods by Louis L'Amour is for book club this month. Read it last summer and loved it. Am enjoying reading it again, a classic for sure. I love all of the TJ Ed principles that are applied.
I have always been interested in Abraham Lincoln, so when I saw this at Barnes and Noble I couldn't pass it up. It is call Lincoln's Virtues an Ethical Biography by William Lee Miller. I am enjoying this as well although I haven't read as much as I would like, it keeps getting shoved to the back of the list right now.
I am reading The Story of the World Volume 1: Ancient Times by the same Author to the kids. This is helping me get the whole picture in more depth. I do like it. I will get it out and read chapter after chapter and then get tired of it and put it away for a while. Good though. I am finding that I am enjoying history more than I thought I would.
